"My relationship with my Doberman Elias, was the foundation upon which Trails and Tails was built.  My passion and goal, is to help other people's dogs enjoy the fun experiences and adventures that were always part of mine and Elias' everyday lives together.  I provide my client's dogs the opportunity to spend time in nature, run, explore, develop friendships with other dogs, and to therefore, live enriched, happy and healthy lives."

Michelle is a caring and committed pet parent to her two dogs, Zephyr, a senior Miniature Dachshund, and Kevlar, a young Standard Rat Terrier.  Sadly, her beloved Doberman Elias passed away in November 2016.  Michelle and Elias trained and competed in the demanding and complex sport of Dog Agility.  Together they earned multiple ribbons and titles including "Agility Dog of Canada".

Michelle and her young up and comer Kevlar are now training for their agility career together, and Kevlar will be eligible to compete beginning January 2019.

Promoting responsible dog ownership is another passion of Michelle's.  She participates in training demonstrations with the Capable Canines Dog Training team, at local fund raisers and events, such as the annual "Best Friends Walk for Heart and Stroke".
